Information
for Parents
The library is a very valuable
resource where children can study as a class, group or
individuals. The library is fully automated with a network
of 7 dedicated computers which control borrowing,
cataloguing & enquiry. An Information Laboratory,
connected to the school network, is available for research.
It is here that students learn information skills which are
so important for lifelong learning.
A student AV centre is available
for students to use when they need to access information on
video, sound or film. A satellite receiver, provided by the
Department of Education, allows us to access educational
satellite & ABC/SBS broadcasts.
Any parents who wish to borrow from
the library resources are most welcome. We have a small
collection of Non-English & bilingual books for those
families who wish to foster reading in another language.
There are books from around 10 languages
available.
